It’s all about home-cooking
In many countries and also in the Northern regions of Italy, there is the culture of going to restaurants to have a good evening “out” to savour dishes chefs have created.
In the south of Italy, however, it is the housewives who prepare the best and tastiest meals resulting in families and friends in the south preferring to gather together at home for dinners and parties. With this in mind, the cookery teachers at Watts Cooking are the local Lecce housewives as they are the ones who know the local dishes and have had recipes handed down to them through the generations.
